International Day of Peace

Ken Lindley Field

702 East Gurley St.

Sunday, September 20  at 2 pm

Please join our Unity community as we celebrate the 39th anniversary of the International Day of Peace.

The Path to Peace is a unique labyrinth based on the hexagram often associated with the Star of David. The design also incorporates symbolism representing many other cultures and faith traditions.

The main event will be presented at Prescott's Ken Lindley Field located at 702 East Gurley Street on Sunday, September 20 from 2 to 8 pm. The Unity labyrinth at 145 South Arizona Avenue will also be open from 2 to 5 pm during the event.

For anyone unfamiliar with labyrinths, these are unique geometric configurations created in one form or another by all recorded civilizations. Labyrinths are often viewed as a metaphor for the Path of Life. How a person walks through a labyrinth offers insight to how they navigate life on a personal level.

Please join us as we walk together to sow seeds of peace throughout our community.
